Solution:

An Excel file resided online accessible to all managers. After clicking on the link to take them there a note says "Click here to continue" A macro will make the note disappear. If nothing happens an explanation appears below the prompt to click here telling the user how to reset their security level so it will work.

A calendar appears with two blanks to fill in. The user types their name and unit number then simply clicks on the day on the calendar that is their report start date. After that they click on the button next to the blanks they filled in.

This macro automatically opens a word document within which resides another macro. The text box gives instructions on what to do. It tells the user how to set the security level if a change is required.

After clicking on the macro button. the text box disappears and the report is assembled. A table to forecast the managers whereabouts for the next is is ready for filling in with all the correct dates. A report with bullets is assembled at the bottom of the page. All the user has to do is fill in the blanks.

All the managers reports will have the consistency desired by the director. Same fonts and bullets. Very easy to read.
